THE ONLY DOGS PERMITTED ON SITE ARE THOSE WEARING A LIFEJACKET,

WHO HAS REGISTERED TO SWIM WITH THEIR DOG,
AND PAID £4 FOR THEIR DOG IN ADDITION TO THEIR OWN SWIM FEE.

PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT NOTICE BEFORE YOU BOOK A SWIM
IN DOSTHILL QUARRY’S PURE, HEALTHY AND BEAUTIFUL SPA LAKE

We have 30,000 registered swimmers, so demand for summer swim sessions is high.

Many of our new swimmers delay booking their swim session until they have checked the weather forecast for that day to see if the sun will be shining. But they risk the lake being full for every hour of that day, and not being able to swim.

Plus why be worried about a little rain when you are going to get wet anyway? So don’t let a little less sun, or a bit of rain, outweigh the healthy benefits of our spa lake!

Try to submit your booking at least the day before your swim,
and check the session you want is open in the days/times chart above.

If the car park is full when you arrive, drive down to the gates leading to the lake, and offload your passengers. Then drive past the gates down the track to the right, and park tight to the security fence on your left. This enables you, the driver, to exit your vehicle

DOSTHILL QUARRY SWIM PASSES
Swim passes purchased from 17/09/2022 will have a 12 month validity
commencing from the purchase date.
This does not affect passes purchased before 17/09/2022.

Dosthill Quarry swim passes are a privilege where the swimmer saves £20 on 10 swims.

In return we need to track swim pass receipts within 12 months before they are archived.

Please consider whether you will be able to complete
10 swims in 12 months before you purchase a new pass.

Thank you for your loyalty and support, and continue to enjoy your swims.

    SWIM BOOKING FORM

The safety procedure for the lake is based on each swimmer being able to float motionless on the water without sinking. This is achieved by one of two methods.

#1. The swimmer wears a wetsuit which provides substantial buoyancy as well as keeping them warm
    OR
#2. The swimmer wears a swim costume, & tows a personal float behind them.
In the event the swimmer gets cramp in their legs they will be able to float on the surface with the wetsuit's buoyancy, or hold the float to their chest until the safety boat reaches them.
When you arrive for your first swim, you will be asked to undertake a simple flotation check where one of the staff will oversee you floating on your back without kicking, or sculling with your hands.
If you don't have a wetsuit or a float you can rent a wetsuit @£8 or a float @£2 in field #11 of the booking form below.
